the Monchy storY chapter 10

Chapter 10

This is it.. the much awaited day of all the animals as well as the public. Today, will be the day of the performance. It was rather looked forward to by all. The animals, as they cant wait for the show to end, so they can finally have a long rest after so many vigorous training. the humans, as they wanted to see what other tricks the animals have in stored for them after the fire.

all went well. not much problems cropped up, except for the lack of seats in the tent because of the overwhelming response. other then that. no fires or any other incident happened.

the hard work of the animals paid off. they managed to pull of almost all the tricks successfully. however, note: almost all. there was a trick where orang uti had to skate thru a ring of fire. he underestimated the height and got the top most of his fur burnt. the trainers were naturally not happy. they took out their whips and just hit him in front of everyone. it was really humiliating and even the spectators jeered at the trainers. but no one stood up against it...

chimpy and chiono were with the other chimpanzees, being led to their feeding ground. they were fed bananas and papaya. or rather, rotten bananas and over-riped papayas. and this was suppose to be their "after performance TReaT". what a miser those trainers in the zoo were. chimpy and chiono decided they could give the "feast" a miss and went to the spring pond instead. they were just settling down when they heard a sniffling sound. being curious, they went to where the sound were coming from and found orang uti behind a bush!

"you..arent u the one that knocked into me that time?" asked chimpy.

surprised at being discovered, orang uti quickly wiped away his tears.

"er..yea, im orang uti(sobs) what are u guys (sniff) doing here? (coughed).." stammered Orang uti.

"dont talk about it. the feast is just disastrous! nothing different from our normal meal. just incresed in quantity, but the quaility is still as &*%^$^ as ever." complained Chiono.

"what are U doing here then?" asked chimpy.

"oh i..(sobs) nothing, im just here to get some (sniff) fresh air u see.." said orang uti.

though chimpy and chiono both know this is not the case, they decided not to asked ay further. this is because they both know he is upset at what happened just now during his performance. being whiped infront of so many people and during a performance is truly humiliating and hurting to a performer. but this was just what the brainless trainers did to him..

ok, end of chap 10. sry for taking sooo long again! guess im finally losing interest in writing monchy story? haha, but i will finish it no matter what, or how long it will take me! maybe i should shorten the chapters, if not i will feel its a burden to write instead of it being a joy.

anw, its new year today! happy new year to everyone i noe! and thx pple for the new year wishes u gave me=)) hope everything will go well in 2005, being it chicken year, try not to eat too much chickens..er..haha yar. i miss monkey year!
